Some very pretty equestrian vaulting
Here's some very pretty equestrian vaulting. J. is glued to the horse's back. Sinking into it like molasses. Feeling the horse's back rising up beneath her.
I've misplaced J.'s vaulting shoes somewhere deep in the terror of my closets. But purple wool socks work out pretty well after all!

She's looking VERY pretty up there - & pretty pleased with herself. Purple socks are a necessity of life [altho' her braid loosening a little more on every bounce made me giggle a bit ...] You must be v proud of her; but where, I ask, are the vids of YOUR vaulting lessons? Time J was taught to use the handycam!
I love that big white horse; doesn't require much imagination to see him thundering into the breach at Agincourt. Is he an Irish Draught?

Hi Jules,
Getting Jessie to wield the handycam while mom vaults takes an awful lot of cajoling. I'll try next week. ;-) How about vids of me doing backflips off of the big guy? (yeah. right.)
Yes, Shakespeare is an Irish Draught. He's 16 and such a sweet fellow. Funny, I've been around these gentle giants for over six years now, and they don't seem nearly as large to me as they used to.
