Horse Power :: Tractor Lust

Naming the Tractor
Previously, I have whined about being tractorless while having five horses. Well, here’s the good news. A Kubota may be in my near future. Or a John Deere. Or a pretty blue New Holland. As long as it can rake mountains of horse manure and dig me up a dressage arena in the spring, I don’t care what brand it is.
The naming of the tractor may be a more complicated process, however ...
My wonderful and handsome husband Dennis and I often have lengthy and spirited discussions about the naming of horses, dogs, chickens, geese. As he will pointedly tell me, since I drag most of the animals home, it seems only fair that most of the time he gets to name them.
With a big GMC truck named BIG DAWG (by our then 4- and 5- year olds), I wonder what we’ll come up with for a tractor?
And most importantly—Who will get to name it? (Will it be a he or a she?) Since a tractor is most definitely not in the animal/pet category that has been pretty much hawged up by a certain someone, and I most likely won't be the one dragging the tractor home, looks like I might finally have a crack at this naming thing.
I’m starting a list …
